When I thought of making this I was a bit unsure as I thought they might get their nails or feet caught in the wool or through the holes, But NO they are absolutely fine!
I made this with the traditional Granny Square pattern.
This can be made in any colour or any size.
I made this with removable ties as mine like to chew.
This one in picture measures 11x11inches and the ties are 15 inches long.
So here WE GO............
You Will Need
Crochet hook Size 4.50mm (7/F)
Double knit wool any colour
Wool needle.
Terms of use
Ch ~ Chain
Sc ~ Single Crochet
Dc ~ Double Crochet
Sl-St ~Slip Stitch
Chain 3 ALWAYS counts as 1 Dc
Pattern (granny square)
Round 1
Ch 3 and Sl-St into first Ch to make a circle (loop)
Ch 3(this counts a 1 Dc) Dc into the circle, then do 2 more Dc into loop, Ch 2, now 3 Dc into loop, Ch 2, 3 Dc into loop, Ch2 , 3Dc into loop.
Now you should have 4 sets of 3 Double Crochet.

Ch 3 and 2 Dc into same space.
*Ch 1, 3 Dc, Ch2, 3Dc into next space*
Repeat from** once more
Ch 1, 3 Dc, Ch2 and Sl-St into top of Ch 3.

Ch 1, 3Dc into next space, Ch 1, 3 Dc ,Ch 2, Sl-St into top of chain 3
Repeat Round 2, 8 more time adding 1 extra Ch1, 3 Dc in each new space. (I really hope that makes seance)
When you have finished row 8 Fasten off.
Ties (make 4)
*Ch 62
