This year was the first time I took part in a swap on Ravelry. I have never thought of taking part in one of these so when it came up I thought well i'll have a go, and I love the items that I got
This is what I received

I would like to say a VERY BIG thank you to Sarah(skniffen)for the goodies!
Two out of the 4 candy canes broke but they brake when you eat them, as for the yarn which is Lion Brand Yarns "romance" which is nothing like the "eyelash" wool we have here in good old England.
Also had some black and cat safety eyes, eos lip balm and jack skeleton and his dog zero ornaments.

It did arrived two days after Christmas but never mind you cant help the post, but it was somthing to look forward to!!!

I hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas, and I hope you have a FABULOUS New Year

Love
Sandra

Christmas Baby Pixie Hat

So I haven't crochet a wearable item for a LONG LONG time as getting into  amigurumi (think that's how it spelt)
Then when I went to have a mosey on Ravely I found this hat on my Ravely highlights

The pattern is by Maz Kwok
(here is a link to the pattern Christmas Baby Pixie Hat )
This is a SUPER easy to do I manage to get this finished in well over a day, yes that's even a record for me, the only thing I have yet to do is the bobble on top as I just can make them ( sad face)

Plum Pudding Pixie

I have just recently got back into knitting and I can across this lovely looking fella on Ravely and I just had to knit him.

This is an Alan Dart pattern and I must say I am now a REALLY REALLY bog fan of his patterns!!!!
This is so far the most interesting knit I have done, I found knitting with furry yarn a bit of a pain in the arse but it was only a little bit so not a BIG deal!!!
